I feel so inspired today. Nevertheless, I could not compose a poem based on the "sea shanty", the theme for the third poem. Since it's optional and I don't have the flair for writing lyrical work song or whatsoever, I've decided to compose this short poem, my own "sea shanty" called "You".
You
You are my favourite melody,
My pen, my beautiful words,
The panacea for my writer's block,
My unintended amaranthine love.
But I am just
The plain dust in your eyes.
